Rina Choo
Senior Physiotherapist
Rina holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Physiotherapy from Trinity College of Dublin and started working as a physiotherapist in the year 2016.
She is an AHPC registered physiotherapist with experience in various settings including in-patient, out-patient and home therapy while she works in community rehab hospitals.
Rina has a special interest in stroke rehabilitation. She enjoys the process of identifying the underlying impairments and formulating treatments that are challenging and engaging for her patients. During home physiotherapy session, Rina enjoys bringing her patient out of the house for community integration like walking in the market, taking a bus, simple grocery shopping, and so on.
She also has experience in managing dementia patients while she was in the hospital. This experience not only equipped her with the skill of integrating her treatments into activities of daily living, it has also improved her soft-skill while handling patients with mild cognitive decondition/degeneration.

Neuromuscular Degenerative disease such as Parkinson’s Disease, multiple system atrophy, and so on.

Orthopaedic conditions such as post total knee arthroplasty/replacement, Total hemiarthroplasty,
post laminectomy, and shoulder arthroplasty. -
General geriatric condition such as frail prevention, fall prevention, generalised-decondition after prolonger hospital stay, and so on.

Cardiac rehab after heart-related surgery, pulmonary rehab for COPD patients and patients recovering from pneumonia.
